I did this with AS2024 and a new install of the Power Pack - all went well, fasteners all come in the proper special part, but their placement and quantity is not right. I either get collisions between nut and washer, or huge gaps. Depending on the diameter selected, I either get only one nut per side or two. What is going on? And.....why didn't the developers of Power Pack include the imperial stuff to begin with? We fabricate in the USA too!

I don't know why Autodesk thought it was a good idea to replace the Autodesk Desktop App with Autodesk Access. It's not as easy to find and it doesn't simplify anything.

Les sections peuvent être importées ou créées directement dans Advance Design. This is really interesting and i have been searching something like this for verry long ..but still i thik there are few issues remains to address like adjusting analytical model in revit, rebar detailing, analysis and design of foundation flat slab and their rebar detailing, please let us know if those issues are also addressed ..

When you create a new material that is not listed in the Advance Steel database, is there a way to transfer that material to another user's default profile? The problem is that a co-worker created a new material and it shows up correctly on his computer, but when I open the same file on my computer the material is blank and the weight is zero. Is there a way to create a new material and have it available and displayed correctly on multiple user's computers without having to create the new material on each individual computer?
New materials are stored in the AstorAddIn, when added from the Management Tool. If the material is shown as 0, probably you did not copy the Astor file containing the new material on your workstation. If you do not transfer the Astor file, make sure to check the option "Store used data" under the tool ribbon (top left corner)

Oui, nous pouvons importer des combinaisons préétablies dans un fichier Excel et les exporter vers AD à l'aide de l'outil import qui se trouve dans la fenêtre des combinaisons.

Hello Suresh, I hope from now you found the solution. From the Management Tool, you can change standard hole size which will trigger labels for them. By default, Advance Steel do not display standard hole size so by changing the value to something odd like 1mm, labels will always be shown.
